Introduction

  • Work Packages can be assigned to a version.
  • As such, versions serve to group Work Packages into logical units where each group comprises all the work packages that needs to be finished in order for the version to be finished

Create a new version

  • It is possible to find the version settings in "Project settings" > "Versions"
  • Press the green + Version button to create a new version for a project
Add a new version by clicking the green button on the top-right of the page

Here it is possible to configure the following information:

  • Set a name for the version.
  • Add a description to specify the version.
  • Set status of a version, the default status is open.
  • Set a start date and finish date for the version.
  • Choose whether the version shall be shared with other projects, e.g. in the project hierarchy or subprojects.
  • Press the blue Create button to save your changes.
Version settings
  • In the section Versions it is possible to have a view on all the created versions and their status
  • Here it is possible to edit every Version during the project progress

Assign the Package to a Version

  • In the work package section it is possible to assign every package to a specific version simply choosing it in the Package editing section
In this section it is possible to choose which Version to associate with the Work Package
