You can create and manage accounts with different access levels to prevent settings from being changed by unauthorized individuals.
- Configure User Management
- Click Add to load the configuration page.
- Select the access level for the user, and configure the username and password.
- User Config
Username
Specify a username for the account. It should contain 16 characters at most, and be composed of digits, English letters and underscores only.
Access Level
Select an access level for the account.
Admin
Admins are able to view and modify all function settings.
Operator
Operators are able to view and modify most function settings.
Power User
Power Users are able to view and modify limited function settings.
User
Users are able only to view function settings without the permission to modify them.
You can go to the Security > AAA > Global Config page to create an Enable Password for Operator, Power User and User accounts. The Enable Password is used to change a users’ access level to Admin.
Password
Specify a password for the account.
Confirm Password
Retype the password.
