Introduction
- Work Packages can be assigned to a version.
- As such, versions serve to group Work Packages into logical units where each group comprises all the work packages that needs to be finished in order for the version to be finished
Create a new version
- You can find the version settings in "Project settings" > "Versions"
- Press the green + Version button to create a new version for a project
You can configure the following information.
- Set a name for the version.
- Add a description to specify the version.
- Set status of a version, the default status is open.
- Set a start date and finish date for the version.
- Choose whether the version shall be shared with other projects, e.g. in the project hierarchy or subprojects.
- Press the blue Create button to save your changes.
